The outputs from the RDT will not give you a simple answer whether a certain infrastructure arrangement creates an excessive workload for the driver.

Instead, you will need to analyse the outputs and interpret what the various graphs may indicate. Together, the different workload models provide a workload profile for the journey.

This section gives you some tips what to look for, but we recommend that you discuss the outputs with Network Rail’s ergonomics specialists.
